Does your dog jump and bark when you have visitors? We not only train your pet to stay in the yard, but we also teach you how you can utilize our tools in a way that works best for your family - whether they have two legs or four!

Training your dog to use your new electric fence is crucial for ensuring their safety and comfort. Proper training will help your dog understand the boundaries without causing unnecessary stress.
Dog Fences of Michigan will work with you to familiarize your dog with their new collar, introduce the fence boundary (on-leash), and train them to recognize and respond to the warning tone. We'll gradually introduce correction as needed, and teach you to use positive reinforcement to reward their response to correction.
Soon, you'll be able to let your dog off-leash in the area and let them explore. We use training flags to mark the boundary as well, so your dog has another means of reinforcement.
Dog Fences of Michigan will always be available after installation and training to answer any questions and help you and your dog adapt to the system.
