Installing an electric dog fence is the best way to keep your pet safe within a designated area!

Here's a step-by-step guide of what to expect:

Planning Your Fence Layout

We will map the area and work with you to decide where you want the fence to cover. We use CAD layout tools to draw a plan to visualize the layout.

We'll check the property lines to make sure the layout doesn’t extend beyond your property,
and identify any obstacles like trees, garden beds, or walkways that may interfere with the fence.

Installing the Transmitter

We'll install the transmitter in a dry, sheltered area like your garage or basement, near a power outlet. We'll secure the transmitter and connect the power and boundary wires.

Laying Out the Boundary Wire

We use a specially-designed edging machine to dig a small trench and bury the wire about 1-3 inches deep, following the layout you've approved.

Set Up the Receiver Collar

We'll test the collar by walking the perimeter to test signal strength and make necessary adjustments on the transmitter., then fit the receiver collar to your dog’s neck, ensuring it's snug but comfortable.

Train Your Dog

Once everything is setup and working correctly, we'll introduce your dog to the fence by walking on a leash near the boundary, allowing them to hear the warning tone. We gradually introduce your dog to the correction, starting with low levels and only increasing if necessary. We'll instruct you on how to continue the training over a few weeks, gradually increasing your dog’s freedom within the boundary.
